Skylarker Somatics is for anyone who would like to experience more comfort in their bodies and deep relaxation in their lives. It is particularly helpful for people who are in pain with stiff and tight muscles (eg sore backs, hips, necks, shoulders).
Somatics has a profoundly positive effect on breathing is excellent for nervous system regulation, so these classes are helpful for anyone experiencing stress.
It is also for anyone who wants to age well, as it gives space for the joints and all the bodily organs and systems to work optimally.

The skills to use a simple and effective method to release muscle tension (called pandiculation). This releases and reverses neuromuscular pain so that you:
feel comfortable and at ease in your body
experience full, free and nourishing breath
are able to relax deeply and sleep well
have greater range of motion
enjoy a calm and regulated nervous system
benefit from better balance and posture

Hanna Somatics is a mind body system of movement education.
Each class consists of slow mindful movements and sensory awareness training, done lying down.
You learn to release habits of stress and tension in your muscles, so that your body can
rest in an innate sense of peace and well-being, as well as regain
ease, freedom and fluidity of movement.
